The Granite Creek Guest Ranch offers one of the most flexible guest activity schedules in the West - all in the heart of spectacular Idaho mountain river country near Jackson, Wyoming, and Yellowstone National Park. We offer you a taste of the "Old West"; cattle drives, roundups, ranch chores, feeding baby farm animals, and fence maintenance with fishing and hiking thrown in for fun and relaxation. Ride out from the cabins for a cattle drive - through lush meadows, dense forested trails, and onto windswept high mountain ridges - all in one afternoon.

These cattle drives will accommodate novices and youngsters as well as experienced riders. Our wranglers will teach you how to saddle, ride and care for your horse, western style. We offer morning and afternoon Trail rides with spectacular views of the distant Teton Peaks for a full 3 or more hours or shorter rides for the youngsters or for those wanting an easy, gentle horse ride. In addition to the horse and cattle activities, children's programs include archery, leather crafts, hiking, pony rides and other events tailored to each child's age and ability. Tales and songs shared under the stars will give you lasting memories of peaceful evenings in the Rocky Mountains.
